LAHORE (SNP Report): The Hyderabad Tennis Association, under the auspices of the Sindh Tennis Association, is all set to host the 12th Dr Essa Lab Sindh Ranking Tennis Championship from May 31 to June 4, 2025.
The tournament will take place on the hard courts of the historic Hyderabad Gymkhana and is proudly sponsored by Dr Essa Laboratory & Diagnostic Center, a consistent patron of tennis development in the region. This prestigious annual event continues to play a significant role in nurturing local talent and promoting the sport across Sindh.
The championship will feature a diverse set of competitive categories including men’s singles, ladies’ singles, juniors U-17 singles, boys and girls U-13 Singles, 45+ doubles, and wheelchair tennis for both men and ladies. To ensure fairness and encourage broader participation, players will be permitted to enter in only one category. As part of their support for outstation participants, the organizers will provide both-way economy class railway fare, easing the financial burden and promoting inclusivity.
All players intending to participate must have valid TPIN registration and must ensure their annual fees are paid, as mandated by the Sindh Tennis Association. In keeping with STA regulations, attractive in-kind rewards will be awarded to all winners and runners-up in each category, acknowledging their performances and motivating future participation.
